New short film! – I DIDN’T WANT TO HURT ANY HUMAN BEINGS

Check it out on the hub. Leave comments, questions, concerns, money, CASH money, and your attitude at the door!

ALSO! good news!

The site now has a NEWSWORTHY section located right on the front page. It will house the latest and greatest news in whatever form seems fit! Be it still images, moving images, spoken word, sing-song, regular song, trance music, brit-pop, trip-hop, pornography, even stereoscopic 3D (stay tuned for that one!)

Not a substitute for the blog, but a more direct, on-site way to communicate content. In a bite-size package. See what it tastes like. Try it. Eat your computer.

Unplug it first,

Dan

Also, in the continuing vein of short story filmmaking – not even complete stories, but short scenes out of short stories – a new short short:

The goal with these is to capture something visually interesting and make it feel as though it were part of something grander. And hopefully, it’s interesting enough to make you want more.

Animachun!

I have really excitement about animachun and pick frame I thinked look cool for post to all seeing. As soon as I can get vimeo embedded on here, life will be so much more moving-media-filled.

Please note that it’s a work in progress. The visual style really has me going. What I find so neat is how fluid of a jump the doodles and ideas and looks for something in my head made onto the screen. It can be – well, always is – frustrating when you can’t show someone else your imagination.* If only it was projectable. Well, I guess that’s what film-making is all about. Seeing and idea or a story come to life, seeing others see it for themselves, that’s incredible and one of the best experiences out there. And when the process of it all – from concept to completion – is enjoyable and fulfilling and fun, you know you’re heading in the right direction. I’m not talking specifically about this animation, just in general. And about anything you do. If I picked my nose and enjoyed every last scoop… Uh, well, just reinforcing the thought…

* Granted, it is possible to imagine together.
